The Street Division maintains all utility alleys, curb, sidewalks, storm water facilities, street lighting, traffic control devices (traffic signals), graffiti abatement, signing and striping within the City of Douglas limits utilizing staff and/or contract services. The City of Douglas owns and operates its own asphalt batch plant.
Graffiti Removal Program
The City Streets Division manages the graffiti abatement program. The goal of the City, once reported, is to remove the graffiti within 10 days according to the Ordinance.
To report streetlight problems, view and submit the Report a Streetlight Outage Form (PDF). Once the form is submitted, the information will be forwarded to Arizona Public Service (APS). The Streets Maintenance Division welcomes your comments and suggestions.
