The Bloom Douglas Initiative was created in 2021 to provide the Douglas community an opportunity to take part in the beautification of the downtown area. This donation program is being continued to allow individuals, families, businesses, and groups to establish a long-lasting contribution to their community by endowing a rose bush to be planted on the Southside of the City Hall lawn.
