Wastewater Collection - The Wastewater Division ensures that all wastewater collection facilities to include but not limited to sewer collection lines, manholes and other appurtenances are maintained and operated in accordance to industry standards and the water quality regulations outlined in the Clean Water Act.  The City maintains approximately 50 miles of sewer collection lines. 

Wastewater Treatment – The Wastewater Division section ensures that all wastewater facilities to include the City’s Wastewater Treatment Plant with a treatment capacity of 2.0 million gallons per day (MGD) and a lift-station located north of Douglas at the Arizona Department of Corrections are maintained and operated in accordance to industry standards, Arizona Aquifer Protection Permit and the water quality regulations outlined in the Clean Water Act.

Water Distribution – The Water Division ensures that all fire hydrants, backflow, valves, water meters, meter reading, distribution, and transmission lines are maintained and operated in accordance to industry standards and water quality regulations outlined in the Clean Water Act.  The City maintains approximately 70 miles of water transmission and distribution lines. 

Water Production – The Water Division ensures that all water production and water storage facilities are maintained and operated in accordance to industry standards and the water quality regulations outlined in the Clean Water Act.  The City maintains three 300,000 gallon above ground storage tanks, 1-5 million gallon concrete line reservoir and ten water production wells.
