The City of
Douglas Fire Department has been in existence since 1902.
The City of Douglas
was then incorporated in 1905. The Fire Department does have a very rich history
in southern Arizona.
The City of
Douglas Fire Department serves an 8 square mile area for
fire suppression response and a 1500 square mile area for a Emergency Medical
Service Response.
We currently run out of one Fire Station located at 1400th.
Street, and we are always trying to find ways to improve our service to our
customers.
Our staff consists of one Fire Chief, two
administration staff and 24 paid full time personnel and provide twenty four
hour emergency service.
