OVERVIEW - The Fleet Maintenance Division is responsible for a citywide fleet of
over 100 units rolling stock and support equipment. Division staff’s acquire, manage, and
maintain all city-owned vehicles and support equipment. Staff provides preventative maintenance
and repair service for the city-owned fleet. The City’s maintenance facility is located at
2701 N. Sulphur Springs Road. Staff is responsible for vehicle acquisition, replacement,
make-ready, and auction. This includes preparing specifications, licensing and registration,
make ready, updating the division’s equipment data base, maintaining the warranty and recall programs.
Staff is responsible for liquid fuels, above ground tanks and shop equipment and maintenance.
