Douglas RV Park


The Douglas Municipal RV Park is located in Douglas Arizona, at the Douglas Municipal Golf Course. This year-round facility is perfect for weekend trips or as a stopover between destinations. This is a nice clean park located away from crowded bigger cities.

We have a few spaces left for monthly visitors this weekend so contact us ASAP to book yours to spend this winter in the mild temperatures of Douglas, Arizona.

RV Facilities

All our RV sites have full hookups (electric, water, sewer). There are plenty of additional parking spaces for extra vehicles, boats, etc. All sites have hookups for a telephone (connection to be arranged with the phone company by the occupant). There is pay phone in the Landry Room. We have 10 backup sites and 18 pull through sites, with big rig access. The park is blacktop streets sites. There are plenty of shade trees throughout the park.

Payment can be either by check, cash or credit card. Included on site are clean private men’s and woman’s restrooms and hot showers. Sites are pull-in, back-in, or pull-thrus. Park is very big rig & satellite friendly. Sites are very wide, mostly level and will accommodate any size RV with any number of slides.

The roads in and out of the park are roomy. The permanent residents are friendly.

Laundry Facilities

There is also a coin operated Laundry Room.

Directions:

Coming from the West (Tucson)
If you are coming from the West, as you come into Douglas stay on HWY 80 heading East to the first stop light, this light is at the intersection of HWY 80 and Pan American Ave.

  • At the light, turn Northeast (left) on to Pan American Ave.
  • Continue heading Northeast along Pan American Ave. for about 1 mile to the intersection of Leslie Canyon Road.
  • Then turn North (lift) on to Leslie Canyon Road
  • Continue North on Leslie Canyon Road about ¾ mile to Fairway Drive.
  • Then turn East (right) on Fairway Drive to the Douglas Municipal Golf Course/RV Park.

Coming from the East (New Mexico)
If you are coming from the East, as you come into Douglas stay on HWY 80 heading West to the intersection Leslie Canyon Road.

  • Then turn North (right) along Leslie Canyon Road.
  • Continue North on Leslie Canyon Road about ¾ mile to Fairway Drive.
  • Then turn East (right) on Fairway Drive to the Douglas Municipal Golf Course/RV Park.

Services available:

All the services you require are available within a 3 mile radius. Gasoline, diesel, propane, groceries, post office, religious services, auto repair, restaurants, ATM, Health Care, etc.

The Douglas Library (downtown Douglas) offers free internet access to all visitors.

We also have a Community Center (about 2 miles south of RV Park) available to all visitors that includes free access to the Exercise Room, Card Room, Billiards, & other games for seniors.

The Douglas Aquatic Center offers indoor water aerobics classes along with other aquatic features all year long.

Pets

We welcome all pets but remind you to keep them leashed. We even have a fenced in area where they can run around and “do their business”.

Things to Do

During your stay, visit one of the many special events held at Douglas throughout the year or the onsite attraction. Douglas is the home of annual events such as the Mariachi Festival (February), Winter Visitor Celebration (February), July 4th Celebration, 16th of Sept Celebration, Cochise County Fair (Sept.), Arts and Music in the Park (October), Christmas Light Parade (end of November), and Light in the Park (December).

A good spot for a base camp to visit Tucson, Bisbee, Tombstone, Kartchner Caverns, several National Parks, Ft. Huachuca, Mexico, and numerous other interesting things to see. Fabulous mountain views in all directions.
