City of Douglas officials visited a state-of-the-art maquiladora (manufacturing facility) in Agua Prieta, Sonora. Hosted by Carlos Fernandez, President of BF & Sons, officials see first-hand how the industry impacts Douglas and the entire region. The maquila industry is the principal employment sector in Agua Prieta, Sonora.
