Douglas Public Library April Events

April 2018 Calendar of Events-page-001

This month, we are celebrating National Poetry Month here at the library. We’ll have special poetry events every Wednesday for kids and teens!

We are also celebrating National Library Week from April 8th to April 14th. You can show your support of the library by visiting us, checking out materials, or attending our events!

Join us Mondays at 3:30 pm for STEAM Club and Tuesdays for movies!

Poetry Contest

We will be hosting a poetry contest starting on April 2nd and ending April 27th. The poems can be about any subject as long as they are original poems. Kids and teens can be creative and decorate the poems as long as they are legible. This is a great way to practice reading and writing skills at home! Please help us spread the word. In the following link you can get the form that children and teens can turn in to participate in the contest.
