Lauren Carolina Angulo was born in Sierra Vista, Arizona on March 30, 2000. Her upbringing took place in Douglas, Arizona a border town. She is the daughter of Maria and Arturo Angul¬¬¬o, she was raised in a political family environment and trade-economy.

: Vice President of City Youth Council. 

2017 Occupation

: 12th grade student of Douglas High School, Member of Student Council, and is a student of the Gear Up program. She did her community service with Mentors and 4H through a program with the University of Arizona, studies music in many genres, studies Art in oil painting, her best work is a recreation of the painting: '' Starry Night ‘’ by Vincent van Gogh among others. Practices tennis and participates in the Douglas High School Spirit Line. She plans to attend Northern Arizona University next year to pursue a medical career with a specialty in Hematology.
2017 Distinctions:  Winner of the fourth place with the project of Teen Maze in state competitions in Tucson, Arizona with Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA). Girl Scouts Badges. 

2004 Beginnings

: Began her vocation to serve the community at the early age of 4 years old in Sahuaro Girl Scouts Council of Arizona, here she was inspired to discover their talents, vocation and passion to act to change the world, gained important skills that formed the basis of their leadership experience in a safe and supportive life skills and entrepreneurship environment. As a result she learned that the words ''I Can '' quickly became '' I Will '' and all her ideas were transformed into positive actions, this grew her confidence through practice, developing a strong sense of herself, seeking challenges where she learned from setbacks and contretemps. She now carries the principles, positive values, and the character needed to exercise leadership to provide service to the community for both personal and professional growth.

2003 to date

: Conducted her first studies, kindergarten at Lestonnac, Stevenson Elementary School and Paul Huber Middle School. Angulo currently attends Douglas High school and will graduate in May 2018.  She plans to attend Northern Arizona University next year to pursue a medical career with a specialty in Hematology.
